Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Erica Robert Pallo began telling stories at an early age, first through visual art, writing, theater, and voice acting, then through documenting her world with a camera. As an adult, she set out to explore parts of Europe and to traverse the US several times over, pausing in Alaska, Washington State and California. Then while in Central and South America for several years (mostly in Costa Rica, Argentina and Brazil) she learned Portuguese and some Spanish, fostered a baby spider monkey and always kept a camera, journal and house interiors magazine nearby.
In the San Francisco Bay Area she completed two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California at Berkeley - Both with an emphasis on culture, filmmaking, innovation and storytelling. Then she received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film & Media Production from the University of Texas at Austin. After working in Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX, Erica now resides in Cambridge, MA.
As the Creative Director, Producer, Cameraperson and Editor of her production company - EEven/Odd Productions - Erica photographs and films live events for art exhibitions, performances, festivals, music shows, business meetings, and academic gatherings. She understands the diverse, yet individualized needs of clients, from individuals looking for headshots, to corporate teams with long-term visions. Erica’s work has been published and exhibited in art catalogs, online magazines, print articles and group exhibitions.
